image002Daniel Ritacca, MD, helped pioneer stem cell research to treat pain and degenerative diseases, and is considered an authoritative expert in the field of regenerative medicine. Through the use of a proprietary, cutting-edge technology, Dr. Ritacca is able to isolate high numbers of viable stem cells and treat numerous medical conditions; a few common ones are COPD, MS, osteoarthritis, pain, concussions, and lichen sclerosis. He is also one of few physicians in the United States qualified to freeze and store his patient’s stem cells.

As founder and CEO of the, Dr. Ritacca’s philosophy is to provide the highest quality, state of the art care while maintaining concern and compassion for each patient’s individual needs. Dr. Ritacca graduated with honors from the University of Illinois, where he received the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha award for exceptional work in the field of medicine. He went on to complete is medical residency at Northwestern University and fellowship at New York University. Dr. Ritacca is affiliated with Northshore University Health System Evanston Hospital, Presence Resurrection Medical Center, and Shriners Hospitals For Children. He has also taught at the Cook County Hospital for over 20 years. In his free time, Dr. Ritacca enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, playing tennis, and traveling.


image004Dr. Joshi is the CEO and Medical Director of the National Pain Centers. He is a locally and nationally recognized board certified Anesthesiologist and fellowship trained Interventional Spine and Pain Management physician who believes in an individualized, comprehensive approach to managing his patients.

He has distinguished himself as a leader of National Advisory Boards, National Educational and CME Programs, National Publications, National Speaking Events, National Consulting, and National Media Appearances. He is routinely asked to lecture nationally and has presented to audiences approximately 500 times.

He has served as the Medical Director of Pain Management at a large hospital in the Chicago area. He has served as an expert on fraud, waste, abuse and general healthcare reform and has helped hospital systems develop and improve their pain programs. He has also developed strategies for large companies regarding appropriate and effective medical marketing. Internationally, he has worked on global policies at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

He was accepted into medical school at the age of 16 via an accelerated honors BS/MD program with full scholarships. He completed an Internal Medicine internship at Northwestern and residency and fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital. He precisely performs Interventional Spine and Pain procedures that include Epidural Steroid Injections, Selective Nerve Root Blocks, Facet Joint Medial Branch Injections, Radiofrequency Ablation, Sympathetic Blocks, Spinal Cord Stimulators, Percutaneous Discectomy, and Discograms.

He has contributed to the compendium of education by leading or being part of a team that was the first to describe multiple medical innovations. He strongly believes the key to a successful patient outcome is a physician who has a strong education, solid skills, and unwavering ethics.


image005Dr. Kathleen Morno is a native Chicagoan and graduate of Loyola University Medical School, where she finished at the top of her class. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center, and later, completed additional training in laser vision correction (LASIK) and facial aesthetic enhancements.

Dr. Morno has had a thriving private practice for the past 12 years in the northwest suburbs with thousands of loyal patients. In addition, she has served an underprivileged, inner-city community by providing much needed ophthalmic care. Her spirit of service has allowed her to participate in several medical missionary trips to Guatemala. She is an active fundraiser for many non-profit organizations such as SHARE, Haiti earthquake relief fund, No Kid Hungry and Eye Care America, to name a few.

Dr. Morno specializes in treating all hair types for both men and women. She utilizes non-surgical options such as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy as well as providing state-of-the-art surgical solutions for her patients including FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction).

Despite her busy career and philanthropic spirit, Dr. Morno enjoys spending time with her friends and family by preparing gourmet meals, traveling to new locales and long distance biking.

Dr. Freedberg completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Additionally, he completed two fellowships: one in sports medicine at the prestigious Wellington Sports Medicine Center, and the other in reconstructive arthritis surgery at the acclaimed Bone and Joint Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.

With over 25 years of orthopedic experience, Dr. Freedberg is known locally as, “The Knee Expert.” Most recently, he developed an innovative double bundle ACL Reconstruction Technique in conjunction with Biomet with whom he is an independent contractor; which is now being recognized and implemented, internationally. Beyond knees, Dr. Freedberg provides a complete range of orthopedic surgical services including full and partial joint replacement. Dr. Freedberg is a Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has subsequently been recertified twice by the same governing board. Also subspecialty Board Certified by the Sports Medicine American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Forensic Association. Nationally renowned, Dr. Freedberg was deemed a Master Instructor of Arthroscopic Surgery by the Arthroscopy Association of North America, serves as an instructor for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a consulting physician to the Player’s Association for the NFL and MLB, team physician for five local high schools, recognized by U.S. News as a Top Doctor and in April 2011 was awarded the “Best Doctor Award” by Chicago Magazine. Dr. Freedberg lectures on his theories and techniques, on subjects that include not only knee reconstructions but many other joints of the body including the shoulder of which he is also recognized as an expert by his peers. He has published numerous articles on the subject of arthroscopy. He is presently involved in novel research on the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) with the robotic knee testing device which is a revolutionary computerized knee testing device.

Dr. Freedberg believes that each patient deserves the utmost in service. He takes extra time to provide each patient with the individualized care they deserve and treats every patient as though they are a family member.
